In September 2009 we set off on a 28,000 mile journey around the Atlantic Ocean. We had no experience of doing anything like this before. But we were thoroughly commited to the project and over the next fifteen months we threw ourselves into a very different way of life, learning to live and work as nomads on the road.
Along our journey we met presidents and prime ministers, camped in remote jungles and crossed vast deserts, and were welcomed by thousands of people in twenty two different countries. Through our photography, films and writing we tried to document our lives and the changing lives of the people around the ocean rim.
